Specialization Overview

A 30-credit-hour degree program focused on applying interdisciplinary frameworks to educational 
practice with a focus on multilingual students and their families. The state-approved ESL 
Endorsement is intended for students who already have their teaching certification or plan to obtain 
it. This is because this degree does not include a teaching license or certification, which is required to 
teach in K 12 settings.
